The Flint Hills Center addresses fiscal policy issues that determine the growth and competitiveness of the state’s economy by identifying policies that create a general economic climate favorable to growth.
Putting ideas into action
The Flint Hills Center continues its efforts to stimulate discussion of fiscal policy and its impact on economic growth in Kansas. As an independent voice in the debate, The Flint Hills Center for Public Policy provides an invaluable resource to the public, the media and policymakers. Through forums, legislative briefings and public meetings, Flint Hills serves as an educational leader, providing Kansans access to experts in the field from around the country. These writers and speakers continue to prove themselves an excellent resource in providing context to the debate and explaining the experience of other states. The fiscal policy work of the Center strives to not only assist policymakers in charting a path toward a growing state economy, but also to engage the public and the media on tax issues that affect the state’s economy.
