The Flint Hills Center for Public Policy envisions a civil society where the citizens of Kansas are free and responsible people.
Our Mission:The Flint Hills Center for Public Policy's mission is to provide an independent voice for sound policy solutions that will enhance the well-being of all Kansans.
Our History:The Flint Hills Center for Public Policy, formerly the Kansas Public Policy Institute, was founded in 1996 to be an independent voice for sound public policy in Kansas. The Center publishes studies on a variety of issues with a focus on health care, education, and fiscal policy.
Our Philosophy:The Flint Hills Center for Public Policy is a non-profit, nonpartisan, policy think tank with a strong belief in the ability of individuals to make intelligent decisions and a healthy skepticism about the ability of political bodies to make objective decisions when faced with the pressure of politics. The Center is dedicated to the consitutional principles of limited government, open markets, individual freedom and responsibility.
Our Role:The Flint Hills Center for Public Policy's role is to develop and promote sound long-term policy solutions in Kansas.
